scraped together resources for last few runs. my bbs keep doing scratch damage, should i equip 46cms? and are blues fine for my cvs? i have as+ on all nodes btw
i cant count how many times my girls choke and do 10 dmg during the day/night. im beginning to think something is wrong with my equips.

I might be wrong but this is the same central hime you encounter in E6 so why are you equipping Blue planes instead of Red planes that do massive damage to her? Just like E6 you send Red plane Aerial support and Red plane with pretty much all the slot other than occasional Green slot (I slot my best green planes for the 2nd small slot and the rest with red planes until I ran out so I filled it with blue. 460mm is not recommended unless you're running Nagato class/Yamato class since the accuracy you lose is quite huge if I remember correctly. You're putting Type 3 on your CAV and the best seaplane you can get on the max slot right?

on my cas, i was putting type 3s with my sole wg42/zuiuns.

my support is aerial type with mostly reds with a few green fighters
my 3 land based airfields already has all the land bombers i have+leftover torp bombers, and a few fighters

WG32 is useless at best, that's me having 4 WG32 >_> You're better off not using WG42 and use standard 20.3x2 + best Zuiun variant + Type 3. My BBV/FBB all used AP shells since I find Type 3 doing shit all. You're using all 2 teams assault onto boss node right? (so 4 attack + your CV attack + Aerial support meaning 6 opening attacks before combat begins). If so then I think the rest is just luck. I think JP tweets used Blue was to clear the trash/Dyson so that your night attack team can focus on Boss, however when I did it, I just did it like E6 and had many red planes, Boss normally start off with 300 hp at best most of the time after all the initial strikes, and most of the time only Dyson + CV Hime both already half HP.

Cleared e5, so am having all 3 focus boss. All my aerial bombings bring hime down to sub 300 consistently, but my shelling is near useless; almost always doing chip dmg.
Ill try a red plane loadout, and swap out my ca equips. Thanks!

That's RNG I think, but you shouldn't expect your BB to do anything, other than hope they clear up Dyson/CV hime for you. Your main hope is actually your CA doing near 300 hp damage over 2 shots in night battle to boss to finish her off. I suggest using CA with more firepower if necessary, since I used Pudding chan and Myoukou both maxed modernized with best equipment :P

Yay no need to hunt for Pola in future event!

Finally this event felt like nightmare even at Easy for E5-E7 >_>

No luck with my duki farm, oh well.

For E7, there was no divebomber bonus on Central, but a general boost to air strike damage. Hence the usage of torp planes. If you got by with divebomber setup then you got lucky. For E5 it would be the standard shelling setup and thus divebombers for atk. There are no bonuses to E5 w/ air strikes.

Well, unless you were on easy, then it is just inevitable.

EDIT- funny how the kneejerk plane setup for E7 during initial clears turns out to be on the right track. That said, the theorycraft and minmax for bases really didn't start showing up till the last week probably due to how prohibitively expensive the maps in question were.

Summer event is probably also going to be a large scale event so stocking up resources early on is probably going to be vital.
I managed to get another Abukuma while doing this month's 2-5, so training that one up since I've got a small stockpile of medals that I can use for doubles.

Summer event is probably also going to be a large scale event so stocking up resources early on is probably going to be vital.
I managed to get another Abukuma while doing this month's 2-5, so training that one up since I've got a small stockpile of medals that I can use for doubles.

Dupe Abu didn't do much for me this event but it wasn't bad, probably going to work on a 3rd Kasumi if I can. Mostly just resource stockpiling while trying to keep 500 ranking as well as do screw-giving quests. Otherwise just leveling up the farm ships from over the event to clear up some space, fairly relaxing tbh if we ignore the amount of souryuus. Might try that fixed composition 5-1 quest again.

Out of interest, do you need to mask your phone with JP IP then? Or KanColle android accept foreign IP as well?
