Saw is child's play to some of the gore films that I have seen. It's not bad but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. Movies like slaughter vomit dolls and august underground series are disturbing.

Edit: I have found some 3D Custom Girl mods that are guro.

So realistically violent, it was mistaken for an actual snuff film. The director almost got his ass landed in prison. Had to show a court the exact processes he went through to make each "death" scene.

I have heard of that movie. I never have watched it but have heard good things about the movie. He also got in trouble with animal rights activist because the violence towards animals was real? I can't really confirm it.
