i don't give it pointer coz the edge of feather itself is the pointer..

I think the white would be fine actually~ If there was a dark glow~ The contrast would be obvious and the white would always show up~

you probably shouldn't completely copy the style, but you can try and see how it looks~

asuna's hair is much longer:

The MC's hair is about half that length. Think about preventing the hair from interfering too much if you spin~
It's fine if you let the braid lower like a wide U shape. Think about tying up the hair with a ribbon~

Gold would mean a yellowish glow which wouldnt create much contrast when coupled with white~

Hmm an outline might not look that great with a feather... make the glow bigger so it covers more of the feather and acts as an outline? Though it sort of does atm~

I made the outter glow more wider..
And add primary bg shadow for the feather itself so it gives more impact on existence.
