And yeah, at a first glance I could tell that the hands of Korie Riko and Karory did the illustrations (and the trailer confirmed it w). Too bad Kilacco didn't work on it - else I'd instantly go HHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGG.

Yeah, most if not all of Alice Soft games have this shounen feel in them. I guess you can hope for English patch since they already translated Rance and Big Bang Age.
