Sounds like it is really long. Also a bit of a deterrent that the author died before completion and let someone else finish it. I've only heard good things about it though, so at the very least I'll keep it in mind.

Well the series is downloading in 46MB of glory, so I might read it eventually. Though it also just reminded me that I have other books downloaded that I forgot about. XD
