Yeah, I just started playing it, and I can already tell it's going to be filled with hours, and hours of cut scenes.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope on PS3 also had a ridiculous amount of cut scenes, some taking almost an entire hour, but the good thing about that game was that they could all be skipped, and the game would give you a short recap of what you missed by skipping the cut scene.

It only gets worse. Later they just keep pulling through all obstacles with the Power of Friendship and Lengthy Speeches of Motivation. It was awful man. ;_;

At least the game can be kind of tricky if you play it on Evil (or whatever the highest was :P).
