Morning folks! :56046:

Wow! Slept a solid 8 hours, and woke up feeling much better!

Still a bit fuzzy from sedative residue, but it's clearing up.

The coffee helps! :naka:

Anyone here knows stuff about fansubs? Im trying to figure out whether subs in Coalgirl's releases are hard or soft, but I have no luck so far. Im newbie in that department

If you can turn them off they are soft. Hard or soft means whether the subtitles are actually put into the video or in a subtitle track. If the files are avi they're most likely hard.

Well I know that much. But the file size is 25gb and my internet speed is not that good and I need it to be soft subs for my AMV making. I dont wanna waste 25 hours of downloading if they end up being hard...

What's being sedated like Leggy;?

Good question. I don't know what they used on me. I had an IV in my hand, and the nurse said she's adding the sedative; I felt a cool sensation in my hand. Then I woke up in the recovery room, feeling fuzzy. After about a half hour, I could stand up.

I was totally unconscious for the entire procedure.

I was monitored and watched over the entire time. There were no complications.

I slept most of the day, and all night, as the residue of the sedative washed out of my system. I'm still waking up, but should be just fine later. No other side effects.

While playing the vid back, a look at the Properties will tell if soft subs are being used. If it's hard subbed, no subtitles will be listed.

If it's soft subbed, there is software than can remove them. You can make and encode your own subs with other software. A software search will fine the necessary tools.

Hope this helps! :)

Sounds alright. I'm due to be ko'd for an operation sometime in the next year when the health system over here finally gets their paperwork sorted and stuff, just wondered what it was like.

♥ Sky; You should be fine. Medicine is wayyy more advanced than it used to be.
