Yeah, I know how you felt.
Some server even kick you out when they found out that you're too good with tube.
Many people called me Tubenoob, but I felt honored by it.
I usually like to taunt them by asking, "Who's more noobier? The one that kill you with tube, or the noob that got kill by the tube?"
That always pissed them off. Bring pleasure to my to know that their pissed at me.

Well...since y'all know that I'm a *self proclaim* gun otaku, I'll play any game that got to use guns in them. Guns that are from the 20th century til now, that is.

First of all, not all my friend have Internet connection at home and legal copies of COD.
Second, COD ain't that much popular at my area, and cyber cafe that have the game are quite rare.
Most cyber cafe target more of MMO and DOTA players, coz they're the majority.


When I'm not playing with me teammate, I usually play online with my DoD:S clans, The Enforcer, in Steam.

I play COD4, DOD:S, Insurgency, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45, Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45, and Battlefield 2.

@Aaronny: Get something that's from Alter, Good Smile Company, Max Factory,
MegaHouse, Kotobukiya, Griffon (Touhou).
But I'm not sure what they haz over there, and usually all these fest or what not,
tend to be tad more expensive than they should be.
There's PVC, Nendos, figmas, dolls...

@nemuruuu - i dunno about actual figure/statue things... too expensive for me... might only get them if they are AWESOME. like ookami ryouko. or taiga. figmas any good? i saw haruhi and mirai for $259 hkd each, and stuff like azuka for $299... is that a reasonable price?

@Aaronny: Then you might want to consider what to buy!
PVCs are more expensive, but they look better tho you can't play with them (Like changing their positions and whatnot)
Nendos are much smaller than PVCs, but are cheaper and you can change their postures.
Figmas are smaller than PVCs but a lil bit bigger than PVCs, around the same prices as nendos and the same.
I think those that you saw are Figmas, as they're like S$40.
Reasonable. If you didn't consider shipping in, that's cheap.
If they are second-hand goods, you might wanna reconsider tho.

Local stores will charge you at: Original price of figure + Shipping cost of one figure (Including the box as well).
Online stores will charge you at: Discounted price of figure + Shipping cost of figure (Depends on how many you buy,
shipping will be cheaper if you order a few at one time and depending on what service you're gonna use as well).
You might wanna check local stores out first, but I'd rather order online.

ummm... in hk atm... but might go back to england. about local stores... found one that sells figures for cheap-ish prices, another one that sells figma for 259~299 hkd... so quite good imo.
thing is, i found so many figures being sold that were 'discontinued' in the online stores.

if i'm gonna order, i should buy now and have them ship here instead of shipping to uk if i go back there for uni...

Ahhh, I'm not sure about that.
You have to check out your local stores there.
If you're planning to go figma, go with figma all the way!
My collections are PVCs tho.
Discontinued figures might have a chance to be restocked, not all the time.
Those figures you saw are most prolly a second-hand goods, or left at the shell cause they aren't popular.

Remember to order in 2 -3 boxes a time, so you can save up more.
Plan ahead if you wanna order :p

about figmas, i'm probably planning to buy mostly pvc, with only one or two figma to mess around with...
