The setting is a mysterious natural disaster that makes all man made flying devices like planes stop functioning at 500feet (150metres). The idea is great in itself, and fitting for a aircraft-focusing game such as Artemis Blue. But why, why in the world did the author had to personify this phenomena as the Sky Goddess Artemis not wanting humans to fly in the air and covers the whole sky with her hymen (yes, HER FUCKING HYMEN). Thus, pilots around the world all dream of breaching the Sky Goddess’s hymen by clearing the 100km height to outer space. The worst part of all this, is they’re totally serious about it when they say that. Keima was described by a person with a straight face as the best pilot, the only man that the Sky Goddess Artemis loved and the only person “worthy” enough to break her hymehurrrr I really have to wonder what must be going through the writer’s mind to think of something like this.
^Exactly my thoughts while playing the VN LUL.
