Hmm... I played a lot of ds1 so ds2 isnt too... frustrating... I just havent gotten the mechanics down yet and they have been changed since ds1... so Im not really good at dodging or ripostes at this point... Of course theres also that they now have a stat tied into dodging so.... the dodge frames are likely lessened for new players... I just tend to get hit a lot even when dodging... Or at least in ds1 the dodge frames were in the middle of the roll while I believe they have been shifted to the start of the roll now... doesnt help me get used to it all... My current thoughts on ds2 is that it feels less refined than ds1... or maybe refined in the wrong ways? Mages are now viable as they can possibly increase casting speed unlike ds1 where they took too long and just got destroyed by swarms... Apparently ds2 character builds have more... viable? In ds1 it sort of went to probably a dozen or so weapons which were top tier in pvp and spells which everyone just spammed... But there is also that ds1 is better in terms of levels? There are places which really "wow" the player when they walk in while that isnt quite so for most areas in ds2...

Well, I'm finally off to bed.

Hmm... I completely overleveled myself during my first playthrough... probably had near 200 hours in the run when the typical run is said to be 20 hours? Of course theres the fact that I was really cautious since first time playing and that half the time probably went to farming levels..~ I basically had the ability to use anything I wanted by the end of the run and could just block anything that bosses tried to toss at me..~ I think magicians are actually kind of a bad class to play... In terms of pvp, spells will only hit if the opponent dodges wrong and they take a bit long for bosses... For some reason my patience was near infinite and I basically challenged myself to get everything possible... including a blue slab which was basically the rarest drop in the game... that ended up taking 8 hours to get... The enemies that drop it were all in inconvenient locations and not very numerous... My first real issue was blighttown... but everyone hates blighttown... I didnt know how to deal with the enemies there so had to turn back and get myself powerful enough to destroy them...
For some reason, the ds2 equivalent of blighttown was also the first place which made me... less than happy... I died five times to really dumb things... without even reaching the first checkpoint... though I was mildly raging by the third death... which contributed to the latter two... but really... a platform which just breaks without warning and drops you to your death... and then it turns out the part next to it also breaks so you die twice to the same bull... I was extremely careful throughout the game to not lose any souls at all but that was the place where it was just impossible to avoid... the game has bad jump mechanics as well so.... I just dont like that place....

Hmm... I havent heard of it exactly but... know theres gaming stuff where ds3 was shown..~ Also saw some test version that people had been playing..~
