Angel beats has a vn though it is about the backstory of the characters I think? Havent gotten around to reading yet @_@
you get to make choices which changes how the story goes so it won't follow the anime......also there are volumes tho only first volume aka Angel beats 1st beat has been released.

I would expect it to have more content than the anime since the anime was halved so the story cut short...
hmm in the anime some characters did talk about their lifes...
The vn however has volumes. You get to make choices and then have romance with one of the girls...... Each volume contains different characters unfortunately only the first volume was released and that was a year ago.
