On Aug 30, Netflix is releasing a 10 episode prequel to the classic 80's Jim Hensen fantasy, called Dark Crystal Age of Resistance.

The artwork and animation look great. The storyline... we'll see. Such projects seldom go well.

Well, I am pleasantly surprised!

I had my doubts about Dark Crystal Age of Resistance, after all such remakes seldom go well. Without Jim Hensen, could they keep ro the standards of the original Dark Crystal?

After watching the first three episodes, yes! The artwork and special effects are quite good, the storyline is cohesive, and the character development is engaging. It's a very interesting watch!

So far, Dark Crystal Age of Resistance has been a worthy prequel to the 80's classic fantasy!
