My dad gave me his old Ibenez Artwood from 33 years ago, so I guess nothing like hard rock and stuff. Plus I'm just learning, I don't want to get ahead like that. lol

You got a really nice guitar there too. You can play rock songs on that.

Yeah, it's REALLY nice. He got it when he was 17.

I don't mind playing any kind of music at this point until I learn the basics. Only frets I have trouble with are 1-2-3-4 when looking. Without looking, I can do them fine.

I like Metal, Black Metal, Classic Rock, Rock, Alternative Metal, Jazz... etc. It's a wide variety, and to be honest I don't want to invest any money into this until I'm certain I can make some money either on the side with it or make it a career.

@Posty: I hear ya' man. That guitar will be your best one to use. It isn't even finished aging yet. It's got another 50 years to go.
I got my guitar off of my grandparents, who's son bought it when he was a teen. It weighs about 30 pounds and is so old....

If ya' want I got some tab books I keep on my computer that I can send ya'.
