Not that even, here in AS we have many servers

What you see here are the cached servers, it do nothing but pulling data from another server and serve it to everyone, the cached servers content then distribute the data onto a cloud distribution system, so it serve the forum content from many countries, improving the loads time.

Behind the cached server are the webserver and the database server, webserver pull... data from the database server and stream those a centralized cached servers.

Then there's a sandbox, a sandbox is a perfect replication of both webserver and database server, it is used for us to make changes to AS, to evaluate the change and to make sure it is error-free before pushing such changes to the live version.

I'm working on the sandbox :p

Due to many potential security exploit in the sandbox, it can only be accessed via a private network :p

Sorry I am not much on AS. The website goes very slow and lagging for me. I have tried notifying the admins but they behave like assholes. Some ingeneer acting all wise. While he obviously doesn't know anything. Saying it's my browser, whatever. Well I am webdeveloper and made alot of sites browsercompatible and I can tell it's due to their huge amount of images, css and more. But I can't be bothered to care. Well they do got some good stuff on there, the hentai that is. The rest isnt interesting to me. Just the spam section is abit big. And I don't get those empty audio section and some other things

I suppose it is quite understandable from that person's viewpoint if what he states is true.

Trying to make it 'error-free' or 'improve performance' will require much digression without losing some of the current content.

I don't know but I haven't received any similar tickets, I'm sure the staff would have brought that to my attention

AS is designed to run well on ATOM single core and ARM dual-core device, there might be a bit of lagging if one use an older ARM chipset for full site experience but we provide support for Tapatalk and in the next upgrade, we will provide a separated mobile skins aiming for older mobile device.

The Downloads section are exception though.

Hmm... I see.

I have heard that a few users had 'lagging' problems like you mentioned. However, as you stated, it's usually due to older chipsets.

It certainly would be great for mobile users if it does come into play, pertaining to the upgrade.
