When you exercise you actually tear up your muscles a bit. (REALLY REALLY small tears :3) and this causes the pain the day(s) after. That's why you need a day ( or two depending on your physical status) to rest and let it heal.
The more you train the faster the muscles get used it. In time you won't feel anything and you need to raise the intensity (or weight).
@ tester Mmm, I've watched it, and still am. I'm not really liking the pace of the anime. Feels like many parts are being skipped with time moving very fast in the anime (though I wouldn't know as I've never read the light novel).
Hmm to stop drawing... well i just draw whenever i have time/feel like it... not too hard to stop for me though i do understand the feeling of not wanting to after getting in the mood to xD
My exercise is just 40 min nightly~ Nothing too harsh... for me anyway...
Mood definitely plays a huge role in drawing. In college, whenever I had to draw something or produce a piece of work, I had to be in the right mood, or I felt that the work wasn't good enough. Sometimes I would stay 3 hours after college has ended to continue. Other times I would spend 15 minutes before leaving. We were encouraged to stay for at least an hour before leaving, but as our Illustrations teacher was very lenient with us, she didn't mind as she prefers quality over quantity.
@ Sam, 40 minutes isn't too hard, but I wouldn't recommend over extending how long you exercise once you've gotten used to exercising for those 40 minutes.
@ Rennie I should have known, shouldn't I? *ehehe*
Oh hello Nemuru! Nice to meet you! A gen 1 member like King is a rare sight to see. ^^
