NTR is an abbreviation of Netorare, which can be referred to as 'cuckold', that focuses on a story about the protagonist (usually a male) getting his wife or girlfriend stolen from him by another man that uses rape or blackmailing (sometimes the wife getting sick of abstinence). After repeated sexual intercourse, the wife or girlfriend will eventually 'break' and leave the protagonist for the other man leaving the protagonist powerless and with nothing else to do.
