nooo my asl folder is a mix between alot of things~ There's the original lossless files, ASL flac + mp3 rared and un-rared XD
I have an "other" folder for things like if i want to keep it.

probably 99% of what I have is allll mp3. I don't really care about flac :P and yes, i skip songs often sooo it kinda distracts me.
I have to make good playlists to not skip something. It takes time tho, and I've lost them several times thanks to it corrupting on me T_T So the least I'll always make a playlist is serenity, which you can guess what goes there XD

Ah...even so I barely have a fraction of how much music you have, in terms of storage size. So does this mean you also delete music that are not in your 'Other' folder then, such as previous music requests?

This pretty much applies to almost everyone. I really don't mind not having a track in FLAC just as long as I have the song (except for the time when I made a request since I was in a FLAC mode, as one would call it. It was somewhat revolutionary to me. *ehehe*)
Good luck with making a good playlist. Despite having so many tracks that I love to listen to, there are moments when I just feel like listening to something else. Unless I take the time to do make one, I'll be skipping to and back some tracks. At times I'd even put a song on repeat just because I don't feel like listening to anything else (and to learn the lyrics if any are present).

I see and think I'll be able to guess what goes in there. Whatever music gives off a calm or peaceful vibe, like the majority KEY for example. =]
Have you listened to the Xenoblade Soundtrack before? It's definitely one of the best I've heard. It has some tracks that I think are what you'd call serene.

There's no benefit in doing so as it doesn't cast away any worries you have. It only delays them, that is if you had any to begin with. :P

I never though to have a folder for requests XD but it's a good idea anyway~ since alot of ppl want flac, it'll basically become asl anyway or wtv. And yesss I have xenoblade's soundtrack, I've played the game too. I was disappointed tho :f but I used cheats since it was hard XD I've played enough games where you have to keep fighting to have a change~ I'm still the best rpg person among my friends XD non of them were willing to play some of my favys~ sooo I just played and they watched XD

itunes and my ipod lets me rate songs sooo I can remember which songs I like and sort through them~ the problem is, if the library is gone, so are the ratings x_x I wish they made a list or wtv to keep them :f since I have a few thousand songs. I'm not sure how much music i have, it's near 60G now. I need a new drive soon :f

sooooo I ended up rearranging and cleaning my room XD I can't move this desk tho since it's heavy x_x I kinda wish I had this and that~ but what can ya do x_x I only have 3 decorative things in here, and they're not that noticeable :f
I thought about making stuff like a rug and pillows buuuut it'll have to wait. My older sister dances and makes desserts, my younger plays music and makes stuff, and I'm just all over the place XD I'd really like to do lots of things again~ gymnastics was fun, music lessons took my life XD and it's hard to learn new recipes between my mom and budgets soooooo lol
but I do plan on learning to do all kinds of stuff~ especially crafts once I get into them. my mom likes craft stuff too xD
