CoD and Halo are just casual shooters, that's why everyone is so good at it. A regular FPS, such as Tribes: Ascend, would use all of the buttons on a keyboard. Anyways, I don't play too much FPS, but I do have a liking to the Shooter genre.

Anyways, back to Disgaea.

Edit: Final Fantasy is going down in sales in North America, but I do believe that they are having high rates of sales in Asian countries.

Final Fantasy has THE best video game soundtrack ever. Long as Nobuo Uematsu walks this earth they will remain the best. I know there is some brilliant others but Nobuo is just god. But yes, Final Fantasy killed itself once it formed with Enix and lost Hironobu Sakaguchi. Chances are Final Fantasy will never recover. Final Fantasy WAS the game series of game series always having quality games but its just going down hill more and more, I really hope Final Fantasy XIII -Versus- can save the franchise but I doubt it can after how far it has fallen. :/

I kind of want Square Enix to move on from the XIII era and focus more on XIV. I hope to meet some of you on XIV, if you guys do decide to purchase it.

I've played FFXIV for a year once it came out, I plan on returning once Realm Reborn is out if I can get the money for it. I just hope I didn't lose my Lv.50 Archer. :/ I can't get a clear answer if I'll still have my character status or not since I was inactive for a long time.

"This generation" doesnt care about a lot but not everyone in the generation thinks like the mainstream... people... and i do care about the music... Its sort of the reason why i started watching anime anyhow Music is darn important and scenes wouldnt be quite as awesome without the music setting the mood

Hmm well if they manage to make the next FF game awesome then people might come back? :/

By 'this generation', I did not mean specific people. I meant a majority of it. I do not care about what this person thinks or what this person's opinion is.

Final Fantasy's new combat system is what made it die, in my opinion.

Its possible that Final Fantasy XIII -versus- CAN save Final Fantasy series which is what everyone is saying and doing at the moment. The game has already built up so much hype for itself that it can't afford to fail otherwise its basically "game over" for them. I've heard some interviews mentioning that if versus fails they will end Final Fantasy. I don't know how true that was or not though, they could be talking out of there ass but Square-Enix's yearly sales do back up the theory that they might actually end it for good. Versus is far too different to really be called a Final Fantasy in my mind but meh, I'm still super excited for the game. Its basically a great graphic'ed Kingdom Hearts as it uses the same mechanics. Can it save it? Who knows. *shrug*
