Animals do use sounds, but their communication is not as difficult and pointless as human's "language". They can understand what other animals mean with any and all sounds or sometimes even without them.

It's useless to make human understand the truth as long as they continue to believe so don't worry Ou-sama, I won't waste my energy on that...

Well, we seems to have a Nobel Prize winner for Animal Communication in this Forum o.O

And what I don't get is, just because animal communicate in a "complex yet simple way", how does that make language not a beautiful thing? I love animals, and I agree their own way of survival is truly beautiful as well, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't appreciate our very own way of living.

Humans are not the same as animals, never were, never will be. I've not seen one shred of evidence other than a guess from people who act like they figured out everything and advertise a hypothesis as true.
Communication takes form in various ways. (sounds, symbols, body language) Things that are hard-wired into a person from the day they were born. People are special, unique, and beyond full understanding of the design they were given.

That's true, its no point arguing when you yourself believe animal communication is far more superior than human communication. When you believe in that then of course you'll argue that way, its understandable. But please let me say it once more, I did not say animal communication is at all not beautiful, but does shouldn't stop people from finding beauty in the way human communicate as well. It might be true that animal communication is indeed more "superior" than human, but beauty does just exist in one thing, I think there is always beauty to a lot of things, just whether or not we try to appreciate it.

Guess I was kinda on edge so I said it in a way that created misunderstanding, but I didn't mean to say that human language isn't beautiful. Even though I hate the concept of language itself I still think that japanese is a beautiful language and like it. I don't do something as stupid as saying something is ugly just because I hate it. I hate humans, yet there is some beauty in them.

You are right Snow, humans weren't created to be like animals and they won't be them. And I didn't mean they should. I'm just saying that humans have much more that they should learn from animals then the other way around...

But yes, one must agree that there are lots for human to learn from nature and animals, and we have over the many years of human history, just that it is hard to learn from something we can't even interpret xD

Unless you believe you're a more superior being than human or animal, then I don't see where you're coming from, either way I do find the way you communicate offensive, by all means state your opinion, but I rather hope you not communicate in a way people find uncomfortable.
