Basically you get some kind of RSS reader (I got an extension for FireFox called "Brief"), and then add RSS links to a specific bookmark folder that the reader checks. So I have a couple of comics, stories, and other sites in there that I like to check pretty often. Then it checks all of those sites every so often (I know you can specify on mine) and gives you a feed in order of updates in a nice orderly fashion. The one I use is just the scroll down stack much like Tumblr or Facebook.

I know lots of people use them to track lots of blogs and such too. Great for things that you want to keep track of, but don't update every day.

I have 11 on it so far, and I'm guessing it will slowly expand. Pretty happy with it so far because now I wont forget to check some of those that update irregularly or every few weeks.

Most of the ones I added I don't forget to check, as I had them all on the new tab page for FireFox. This is just a bit nicer to add to my pinned tabs (if you use those). :)

Of course there are still ones that I would forget about. If you only have 3 it probably isn't worth the effort. :P
