Ryuta, I don't know much about Japanese, but I choose to learn it as optional thing for first part of my Uni year, since I want to be able to speak Japanese in the future, as I might plan to stay at Japan for a long vocation after I graduate from Uni, so I want to be able to speak some reasonable Japanese by then. I don't really have a mic so I can't really speak through Skype xD

Mine is just a normal earphone, it doesn't provide such functionality. I'm happy with help with English in terms of writing whenever I can over the forum if you really want. But this is an English speaking forum, most people here are capable of helping you with English writing quite easily.

And,my earphone is normal too.I could use my earphone that I bought for 1 dollar as a mic.It is maybe unbelievable that normal earphone has mic's functionality.

"Were" is a past tense meaning he used to learn Japanese Ryuta. Were will never apply to the future as far as I'm concern.

There are only few cases I can think of where we use "were" to refer to the future, but it is more in a hypothetical (imaginary) sense. Then you would get sentence structure like "If we were to do A, then B" or something like that. "Were" usually refers to the past-tense, as in "we were at the bank".

I took Japanese in university, but I'm not all that great at it. :)

An interesting insight. So maybe it is more like we create an artificial past tense based on our hypothetical course of action? Because in those cases it is really the second item you are examining, rather than the first. So in the end yes, were implies purely past no matter how it is used. :)

I guess in the end it depends on how it was implied, but it does seems that way though. Then again I don't study English literature/language that much, so there is probably a definitive answer to this that I don't know.

Except this case,"Were" is a past tense,I understand it now.

It is special case,in an open-book(and carry anything in allowed) examination,crazy person who carry his friend(a native speaker) in the examination existed.
It is said that it is LEGEND(it means crazy) around me.
