My previous laptop was an old Dell Studio 15.6 inch, and it was pretty good, but it was a bit too heavy to carry around, and now it was too old to be all that good anymore. So I gave it to my sister for cheap, and then got something smaller so that I didn't have to break my back carrying it to school and back. :)

hell this mini laptop that i have it an HP don't know model number buts it is black full of plastic :S but it has a good batery fairly 4 hours (only internet by wifi) if i try to do something more the battery goes down like hell....

4 hours isn't even that good these days. Doesn't sound like a very good machine :/

its a pretty cheap thing after all :S that's why i am thinking something like Mac Book Air not 11.6... 13.3 and 1.3 kilos it's perfect.. but it cost a tone of money but the good staff aren't cheap isn't that right?

Well yeah they tend to be pretty expensive. I personally would never buy a mac laptop (overpriced, mediocre screens), but lots of people seem to like them just fine. :)

well i had the Air Book MC504GR but it was stolen couple years ago with my iPod where locked in the mini-van of our family business and i freaked out i depressed very much it was such a good machine SSD128GB nVidia 9400MX 256MB (not shared) 4GB Ram 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo 6MB Cashe L2 it was very good and strong pc and very portable :(

Yeah that sounds like a decent machine for several years ago (well, if it was more than 5-6 years ago then yeah).

My family had some stuff stolen from our van once, so I'm pretty careful now about what I leave in a vehicle. :(

I rember we were visiting on construction site and my brother left the car very close to us but the thief was to fast to do the job with a big stone broke the back glass of the mini-van and took our gears inlude mine my father's laptop and a small wallet with money and my brother's laptop and iphone...

Yeap that day was a nightmare :S

hmm for 2010 that just doesn't seem very good. Mostly the processor though. My 5 year old laptop has a more powerful processor (also core 2 duo).

yeesh lost a lot of stuff :( That sounds like a big pain

back those days it was working like a charm i had WinXP Pro SP3 with less background servises it goes like hell it was very nice mchine i loved
