That is one of the problems actually. I'm having a lot of trouble getting it so that my host machine can share information with the virtual machine (guest).

VirtualBox. I've gotten absolutely nowhere so far. I have no idea what the professor all included in this package, and he gave us no documentation, instructions, or anything about how to use it. Fun times... :/

well the Labs are the important that MUST never lose so the classes aren't so importanon 8-10 students from 50 are in normal classis but our professor told us that DO never Lose a LAB lesson!!! 3 Lose LAB lesson and we failed :S
