That news is pretty much just a scam. There hasn't been any announcement in ANN nor in MAL that there'll be a second season, though it's actually gonna have a game adaptation which I'm looking forward to play when it's translated... If they ever decide to make a second season though, I don't know how they'll make it but I just believe that Jun Maeda will make something good.

@Anti: No. I decided not to put priority over watching it when I heard the voice of the few people who didn't like it too much.

Angel Beats was horribly overrated and mediocre at best.

Ok, it would be less mediocre if it actually developed the characters a bit and took things a bit slowly. I just thought the whole story was silly from the start. Lets not forget how they just threw in a brand new character, only to be taken off in the same episode. The music was shitty, the characters were barely memorable (for me, at least) and well, it had TK. TK was at least kinda interesting.

I didn't find it even remotely sad. I still can't believe how many people thought the show was 'ok' because the ending was "sad". I found it forced and shallow.

Although I do plan on watching it, other things are in the queue first.
