Be a little patient. I'm saying this because i'm a forum administrator/designer/younameit. Admins work a lot harder than it seems to fix all these little tweaks, plus the forum software itself has it's own configurations. So hang in there, I'm sure they are trying to do everything for the best <3 Everything is already looking alot sleeker right?

I saw your name and was like "Dammit I forgot!"
I do quite like the new width though! It seems like any less than this ends up wasting vertical space, but I just like everything to be used as well as possible. :D
Before had a lot of wasted space, so now it is much better.

Hmm I guess I find the banners look cheesy and it is kind of annoying to always have to scroll past it? Not really a problem, but I like things to be efficient!
