I think the biggest challenge with writing stories is making awesome characters and premise, and after you have those the story can almost write itself. :)

@sam a character can be 'generic' but still be awesome. If your character isn't awesome in some way, your story is pretty much guaranteed to suck.

I guess it would be easier if it was juxtaposed with a 'y', but by itself it was a bad choice on the font creators part. Their kerning looks pretty decent though. :)
