@sam well you have probably heard of alternatives like Dvorak, this is supposed to be slightly better than that.

@pichu Colemak is what I'm trying out. It may not be optimized for other languages, but it would be pretty much guaranteed to be better than qwerty, if that is what you are using. And yes my typing is painfully slow while I'm learning it. :(

TL;DR is qwerty is a horrible layout that everyone adopted, and some people are slowly trying to correct this. Colemak boasts over 30% reduction in finger movement from qwerty.

Well, that is how in at you in USA: - Where 52 states gives it, what 52 different laws gives. Then is it logical, that also in his/her own country at some regions limitation gives... - Is that not logical Samy?~>

I'll stick with the most common layout - QWERTY that is. It'll be odd switching between the two when going between computers.

Hmm well I can still switch between them just fine at this point. I mostly just use my own machines, so it probably won't be a bit problem. When I can a job somewhere I can just DL the keyboard. One of the biggest reasons to switch is it helps with repetitive stress injuries (which I have).

No no, you just DL the keyboard, or in my case just made a new profile in my keyboard software. If you are looking at the keyboard you are doing it wrong anyways, though I can swap my keys around if I really want to (if I decide to fully convert).
