lol the forest hunters. My brother did that too and I couldn't understand why. It isn't really fun to just grind for much time at all, and it is so much faster just to run up and parry them.
Playing through Demon's Souls so far makes me think that the bosses might be easier than most of the Dark Souls bosses, but less forgiving if you mess up, and many of the average enemies are a lot more serious if you mess up. I'm still curious for the maneaters, but of course I am saving them for later so they won't be too hard XD
I've tried it and it'll probably take the same amount of time, if not a bit more, to parry them one by one when compared to aggroing them
Honestly, I want demon's souls to be more rage-inducing.
I've never raged at dark souls through the entirety of the game (only fuck, shit, god damn it, when I die)
I just wake up and this post comes up...hmm good idea. let's ask the professionals. chiru;, ♥ Sky;, why would someone want to be raped?
Dark Souls was quite rage-inducing when I first tried it (because I'd been playing Skyrim before, which is way easier), but when I got used to it, the bosses didn't really feel that hard. The only things that still made me rage were falls (I raged a lot in the Tomb of the Giants) and toxins (hello Blightown). Otherwise, all of the enemies have a pattern, and once you get used to them, they're not as frightening. Save, perhaps, for enemies added by the Artorias of the Abyss addon, like the stone giants in the forest... which I found quite annoying because my main playstyle is shield-em-all melee.
As about the NPCs in the forest, I used to be intimidated by them too, but when I figured out their attack patterns I ended up farming souls from them a lot. Not even by taking advantage of falls; if you move carefully you can aggro them one by one. It usually starts with the mage (really easy, just move around to the left―don't roll―and it's a breeze to dodge his soul arrows), followed by the thief (just time your parrying/blocking well; attack him when he rolls backward and prepares for a lunging attack), then the cleric (hit her hard enough and she'll retreat to heal; just do a two-handed jump attack by then) and the bandit (do a two-handed jump attack when he's charging towards you and he's dead meat). The others don't respawn, iirc.
/pitching in uninvited.
It's not rape if both like it.and nobody get beaten up...in the end it will consensual rape...
Possible, yeah, but a bit useless. The only viable way to kill it on your first try is to pick Black Firebombs (using the broken sword is too hardcore for me). And that only earns you Demon's Great Hammer, which will probably remain an overly heavy weapon for your character until you progress for a bit... and by that point you'll likely have found a stronger weapon that's less heavy. Ornstein and Smough are annoying alright. Smough is slow and rather easy to play around with... but whenever I was hitting Smough (I wanted Ornstein's armour set, so I aimed at Smough first), Ornstein kept shooting at me with lightning bolts. Thankfully Soltaire was there to help.Gave up playing it for a month or so after trying to beat the asylum demon XD (did not know that I should run away first [possible to beat it I know])
The most rage (if you can call it rage anyway) I had was ornstein and smough, though it was just for a short while then I became somewhat like a mindless husk playing dark souls, dying and dying till I beat them w
Never got the artorias addon, but the wolf.......
I was WAY more intimidated (I think), not sure why, but they are ALL invisible (you can still see them, but difficult). Except for the cleric and that one warrior near the building where the cat is "resting".
The bandit backstabbed me countless times XD

Did you play the console version? I don't remember, but iirc the PC version (Prepare to Die) already came with the AotA addon. Yeah, I had problems fighting Sif too, not less because I had poor timing in trying to roll around dodging its giant sword.
I can relate to how you feel about the forest hunters; I also got backstabbed endlessly when I rushed forward. Especially the thief; being so nimble, if I already aggro'd him and was engaging one of the others, he could always sneakily got behind me and bled me to (near) death. If you must engage more than one, it's better to keep your back facing someone like the cleric as she can't backstab. But if you aggro them one by one they're easy enough. The bandit can still admittedly be difficult as he strikes hard, though he only has the Spider Shield, which has poor poise. By the time I got Havel's set and his Dragon Tooth Hammer, it was a breeze to literally smack the bandit (and others) down with a two-handed jump attack.
I know right. It's better not to bother with it imo... even when fully upgraded the damage is mediocre and the strength bonus is only B at best. The Demon's Greataxe is better because of its S strength bonus when fully upgraded. And yeah, it's a pity that Ornstein's armour can't be upgraded. I usually wear it for fashion, though―for my other needs I often depend on Havel's set, including the greatshield and hammer (it's still very strong and second only to a few fully-upgraded sets, such as the set of Anor Londo's Royal Sentinels). For special needs, like when I venture into the Painted World of Ariamis, I usually wear Lautrec's set for its high poison resistance.Got the great hammer, and damn the strength needed, not gonna use that till my second playthrough XD
I actually bought ornstein's set, but switched to a better armor (can't be upgraded >_>)
My stamina was quite high, so I kept on dodging and I used the eagle shield (high lightning resist), kept on keeping my shield up when my stamina is full and stab smough when he's unable to attack.
Then switched to the crystal halberd to fight ultra ornstein, all by myself XD
Yep, and can't connect to internet at all w
My stamina was high, as I said, to the point that I can run normally even with the full havel set.
Was easy for me to run through the entire forest w
I used ornstein's spear, it has quite a long range of attack so most of the NPCs die before they reach me
I'd say "there's a difference between physiological reactions and mental consent," but that' probably be too explicit ┐(´~`;)┌Ignis; but at first they usually dislike it or hate the guy? or getting involved in NTR or something like that
They start calling it rape...

Wait, so the summoning and invasion mechanisms aren't present at all in consoles? Does that mean you can't summon in-game characters such as Soltaire and Black Iron Tarkus, too? (Also lol crystal weapons, I was tempted to upgrade one of my weapons to crystal level and thought maybe it'd be fine to have it become unrepairable if I could get such a high attack... but by the time I got to the Duke's Archives, fought Seele's crystal minions and got so many crystal swords, I abandoned the thought.)
Mine was quite high too, though when I also had Havel's shield and his hammer equipped I had to wear his ring as well to ease the load. But I'm not really suited to nimble playstyles anyway; I'd rather block than roll except for giant enemies like the Asylum Demon.
