Borderlands one is weird on the keyboard...those menus...very clearly designed for a controller.

Hmm winter sale... why wouldnt it work on keyboard? Though i already know a certain game where keyboard just... doesnt work at all... @_@ So difficult to control...

I imagine that controlling both your character and camera in concert would be a nightmare with keyboard and mouse. Maybe it isn't so bad, but I would be less surprised to find that it is bad.

The depends on the game, that's generally what the controls are. In some games the mouse is look. But the keyboard is almost always movement.

From what I've heard the controls for dark souls are funky with mouse and keyboard. Steam even strongly recommends you use a controller.

The problem is with games designed for console architecture require a lot of work to port to PC right. They really should design for both right from the start.

Yes. Dark Souls and (if they have it) Demon's Souls are definitely ports, not originally designed for computer. They were made especially with the PS3 controller in mind, so layouts work well for that, and I can't see any good way to layout all of the buttons on a keyboard and mouse to get a good feel. It makes pretty good use of just about every button the PS3 controller has.

Started watching cuz of Nagi's Seiyuu, Rie.
The thing I hated about it is that god awful story teller or whatever it is..

The narrator? I liked his voice :3

I liked it, I wish they would have continued the story instead of what they did for the last 2 seasons. That and the art style change in cuties...

The second season had my favourite art and I found Cuties quite entertaining with okay art. What I couldn't stand was the Movie's and Can't Take My Eyes Off You's art.

hmm well my main concern is actually being able to speak and understand mainly, if i have a kana grid with me i could probably manage with reading XD

Speaking/listening won't involve kanji... Maybe you should prioritize learning the words before learning the kanji since today you can type out the hiragana and then convert to the correct kanji.

My aim for Kanji is, enough to pass the JLPT and I'm good I should think. Though I suppose enough to read all the untranslated VNs and lightnovels in my wishlist and I'll be happy.
