Just my U.S. History book was $280 :(

It was $58 used, but they were out of the used books, that's what I get for waiting till the last minute

And my anthropology class required 3 books

Those assholes... when they do that at my university, the professors go out of their way to make sure it is as cheap as possible (thus $30 textbooks).

Well, you live in Canada, the government/society over there seems a lot more interested in affordable/quality education then here in the U.S. :(

That has nothing to do with the government though. This is professors who are in the field who create their own textbooks, and then try to sell them to our students for as cheap as possible because they are decent human beings.

I just got tired of Hope being useless in that game LOL. I don't like how the force you to use only certain characters

I want to beat 13 before I get Lightning Returns though. I want the Aerith DLC costume
