Oh... hmm... and i got to 45 dex just so i can toss spells in their faces faster too... :/ Actually im finding the spells lacking when compared to just stabbing them but i guess thats cuz im also just using fireball since i didnt bother to buy any stronger spells until recently xD

Fire actually seems to be the thing that has the most enemies immune to it... =w= Lightning has some which are highly resistant but not immune... So i guess its sort of better in a way... Magic just seems to be average for most xD Nothing that really seems immune to it...

It is more that just about everything in Blighttown resist fire, and the boss (and all bosses in that area after) are immune to fire. Blighttown and deeper is kind of the land of fire, as it will get more obvious later on. You really should upgrade from fireball though. Great fireball may cost a lot, but it will do far more damage than fireball. Great combustion is my favorite fire move. Pyro is super useful. Especially if you go way overboard and got dex to 45 already...

Hmm 20k is just about... well its less than a level =w= Three runs if im killing bandits but im considering joining the forest covenant to get shiva to appear...~ but if im farming leeches... that gives about 3k worth every time and maybe 1-2 large chunks.... Not that much now that i think of it :/ Ahh well... i can get to +10 for any weapon much easier after this =w= And then the flame needs about 125k to get to +5... Thats a lot of titanite dropped meanwhile... i wonder if theres better things to kill though xD

There are better ways to get just about everything later on. Even buying titanite can be faster than how you are doing it. There are also better ways to get souls later. Farming slugs for souls is doing it very wrong. :P

Well I know I take a lot longer on first play throughs too, but I normally kill that boss in less than 4 hours when I'm not in a hurry. Probably less than 2 when I am.
There isn't really a point in upgrading all the stuff, because you can tell if you like it/how it scales and stuff without upgrading it most of the time. And it only gets easier to upgrade stuff if you go through the game more than once anyways. If you want all the trophies, you have to be in NG++ at least, so there isn't a need to get so ahead of yourself XD
