I think I see a lot of Japanese-looking books in that book case of yours.

Doesn't matter, buy German books! Just in case you want to learn German in the next 50 years :goodtea:

just looked out my window and saw my cat running around outside, how the hell did he get outside??? :surprised:

/me buys french books.
Merci, beaucoup, mais la souris est en dessous de la table, le chat est sur la chaise, et le singe est sur la branche.

Do you mean the different dialects?

And one other question: What do you understand better? English or German?

Yeah, 1st: north/south-west German dialect - east German dialect - south German (Bavaria) dialect; - Switzer-German dialect; - west-Austrian (Tirol) German dialect - south-east German dialect - east (Burgenland) German dialect - middle-north-east German dialect; etc.

2nd: Well, German is one my native languages, and English is more or less the developed German tongue...:goodtea:~>

East German is horrible same for the north German parts. Statistics say that we got over 150 dialects and I can speak five or six dialects (most of them) fluently because I lived everywhere here. But the east German accents like from Berlin, Dresden, Chemnitz (not the same corner but they all got this horrible dialects) are really hard to understand. Same for Frankfurt, they talk everything on the same voice, no special accent but it's a different accent because it's like for me to hear/speak spanish properly, you'll need to learn how to pronounce and so on. At least I can't speak German generally because here no one does speak normal German. Some dialects are close but not completely like the traditional German language. I only lived in west/south Germany till now but it's enough what I've learned for accents. Then we got different nations like Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy and so on which got their own accents but I think the most of them learned it because of second language for them. German is very popular in Europe I think but you'll never find a perfect German accent.

Enough from it, sorry for the little "history" :goodtea:
