Here is a trailer for the DLC if you are interested, she doesn't use swords, she is a cat-demon so she uses her claws. They are making a new Vita model that is supposed to be significantly cheaper, but also uses lower quality parts, mainly downgrading the screen from OLED to LCD.

Wait so you get different sets of claws? Sounds painful.

Note the problem isn't that the vita is too expensive, the problem is that I don't want one. :P

Nope, just one set of claws, instead or forging new weapons you get a skill tree, and upgrade attacks, and learn new skills.

Yeah, no one wants a Vita :( I don't think it will last a lot longer going against the 3DS

Sounds like some decent fun DLC. Though one of the cool things with the original was the different utilities of short and long swords. :)
I don't even want a 3ds, but if I got a new portable console, I would go 3ds before vita.

Yeah, I also missed using swords, but I guess they thought for this particular character using claws was a better idea. 3 more DLC characters are coming.

And the 3DS would be the better choice. I love portable system though, love playing while laying in bed before I go to sleep :)

I used to play a lot of portable games when I was a kid, because I could play on road trips we did every year, in my room, and at school. But when I stopped going on road trips, and then got a computer in my room (and now a laptop for school), my desire to play portable games really waned.

well the 1st DLC character followed a completely different story, separate from the main story, with different bosses. I think each DLC character has their own unique story
