Hmm... idk... pyre said that people usually gave up since the controls were horrible without a controller thingy but i was fine? Sorta? xD There is stuff they need to work on but i managed to finish the game anyhow...~ Lol think i sort of broke it with all my grinding though =w= But we'll see how ng+ turns out... =w=

Auh, I didn't know you could grind them to death/brokenness.

I suppose it might feel fine because you haven't had that much past experience playing it how it should be perhaps ? Or much other similar games ?
Maybe you'll notice the difference if you try DSII.

I can probably tell you just about anything you could want to know about the series.
The game isn't that hard - people blow it way out of proportion. It may be harder than your average game by a fair bit, but in my experience the average game is crazy easy.
The PC version was fine, but it was a super shoddy port. I wouldn't recommend getting it unless you have a controller. There are also some mods you will want to use if you get it (to improve the resolution, and some of the textures).

I'm not sure how/if online will work after gfwl is ended though.

You need a mod to improve resolution as well, ugh. Are you really talking about just being able to use native res here ?

I think I'm likely to just play the "sequel". Won't take time for the prequel anyway it seems. And the story doesn't really seem to mind from my online search.

Well theres items that requires high stats to wield so...~ Higher stats lets me use them while i probably should be about 100 lvls lower when i finished the first round ;p Also that i farmed tons and got a pile of upgrade materials =w=

I havent played much like this so... might just be that~ They did screw with the keys i could set and make a mess out of that but still useable i guess... just not like a controller would work..

I think i would agree with pyre that it wasnt that hard of a game? Or not ng anyway =w= But the 40% difficulty increase in ng+ might do something at least...~
