Imagine having the power to both freeze and continue time......then first time you test freezing it, you are unable to unfreeze it again, simply because you assumed it wouldn't freeze you as well along with it. So now your frozen in time for all eternity, with the ability you unfreeze it, but unable to use it.

I would learn all the instruments, read all the books, watch all the shows, play all the games, learn all the languages, learn all the programming.... etc. :P
There is ever so much to do.

I peeked at it for a minute and couldn't figure out how to DL anything properly either.

At least if you did that you should at least not be self aware anymore? It would be the same as death.

Yeah just what I was thinking xD We'd turn ultimate nerds over the course of a couple of centuries, then 5 mins later in the "real" world when we come back, we don't recognize anyone anymore :p Pluss we'd changed so much that no one would recognize us either, at least personality wise. As for me I'd finally be able to catch up on all you ppl's anime watching. Catch is, if we did have a the power to create such a dimension, chances are we'd become lazier than ever before as well hahah...just a 100 years of slacking.

I like to cook, dislike cleaning.

There is also the really dark thought that immediately arises when I think of that power: unfreezing time is accepting death. It assumes that as long as you are in time-stasis you don't age, so every time you unfreeze you will age again - and it will seem quite rapid from your now expanded paradigm of time.

Oh yes.....after having spent maybe centuries in that time bubble, maybe a millennium ....then considering having like ~70-80 years left to live would not seem a whole lot anymore, once you let time start going again, it would probably feel like it started flying away at a traumatic pace.

Almost sounds like a classic dichotomy in a sense doesn't it, let time go and you can live with others again; like a mortal, or fear your demise, hold on to your relative immortality and remain utterly alone....forever. The psychological ramifications after that much time, is hard to imagine. Maybe it would be like having a gun to your head.....to be exact, one on each side no matter what you choose.

P.s there's only one little thing we'd need to work out with this timebubble/dimension thing; and thats how to play our games in multiplayer o,o <I just thought of that.

The problem of course could be potentially assuaged, at least for a time, if you could let others in your time bubble. Try to bring everyone with you!

Then you'd get that lamo hero that thinks that life is precious because we only have so much time who will come to kill us. :/

Yeah multiplayer wouldn't work without more people :(

We would kill the hero ! and never get caught~ Then tell him it's okay your life was really short, so it must have been really precious xD We're just increasing his precious life by decreasing his supply of it. (and increasing demand...likely; when he realizes)

I might have a solution for how it should work in order to retain multiplayer. But more on that an other time, right now I gotta rush of and start a game.

P.s. regarding motivation, you remind me again of an earlier talk we had. Hmmm~
