1. Congrats of finishing school for the Summer! I hope you finished strong. :)

2. It is not very new (around 2005 I think?), but it was very well done. I really liked it. Sci fi slice of life kind of deal. Lots of cool ideas, and even when they had cheesy plot points they would spice it up with humour. Also well animated and colourful iirc. I think they actually did a reboot recently by condensing the episodes into a film. So that is probably much newer.

Did you watch the film or the episodes? I was wondering if I should watch the film sometime. Now that I think of it it must have been later than 2005, I think it was the first thing I watched on Crunchyroll, as it came out. So maybe more like 2008-2009? I guess I could just look it up, but that spoils the fun.

I watched the episodes.
I'd recommend that you watch the film because it's the same as the episodes, but it has extra scenes that explain about certain characters past.
