yeah, some slice of life anime are always good. Sometimes they also can get boring when you watch too many in a row.

Good anime with blood/gore is also very rare

I agree. Too many in a row isn't good. I normally try to switch up genres as I watch things to not see too much of the same thing.

And I also agree that very few anime with the blood and gore vibe are of any good quality. Too often they just turn out to be "horror" and then throw everything to the wind trying to get scares/shock factor.

I wouldn't say it was soft as much as I'd say it isn't extreme. So many of the gory ones suddenly start feeling like they need to be extreme, rather than just be a bit darker in tone. Go big or go home I guess. :P
