if i remember correctly they Black or silver chocobo is the best for racing.

Well i had a turbo pad and left the slot machines running for 3 hours. That got me all the chips i needed.
Chocobo racing is like horce racing. You place your bets pick the chocobo you think will win or bet on the one you enter into the race and earn chips. Depends on which type of gambling you enjoy imo. But slot machines is the easiest.
