I don't think many things in kitchens could be used well as weapons vs zombies. Knives would be asking for trouble. Maybe pots would work though. You could also use a good portion of the area as a death-trap though +_+

(empty food, flood kitchen with natural gas from the ovens and elements, make a lot of noise in it, remote detonate from a safe distance with either a fuse or a timer with a chef-torch)

obviously that would be a horrible idea to do while we stay there. that'd be a last resort for when we're leaving the school. try locking a bunch of zombies in the school, so when the cafeteria falls, so does half the school

Right now the building is just about zombie free.
So make sure you use this time wisely.
There can be hidden items in the vents and other odd places.
The more creative the more rewarding. (trust me I've thought of a lot)
Also I will not allow cavity searching... I draw the line there.

[MENTION=40801]infamous[/MENTION]; Cafeteria falls? We're talking floods of natural gas. We would want to be maybe half a kilometer away from the school, maybe more just to be on the safe side. There will be no cafeteria.

By making noise I just meant leave a few stereos on the school PA system or something so the whole thing is a noise trap. It shouldn't be too difficult to use some people's phones and electronics to make a remote trigger with a couple of fail-safes.

Enough to kill a few thousand zombies, I'd wager. We could just let it run for weeks, with the windows and doors open and the sound going, to collect all of the zombies in the area.

Even with the workers not manning pipelines anymore, there is probably enough pressure at any given time to give us several thousand cubit meters worth of gas.

Sorry that is correct, but on first day I'm letting you guys build supplies.
I'm on 4 hours of sleep, and my thoughts aren't reaching my keyboard.
So I'm letting you explore half of the first floor in one day.
When night hits thing will work as they should.
