I doubt that the admin would want to increase everyone's pm limit only for MG6 while 37600 members only have 1 pm in their pm box (which is from imouto when they joined)



"Why yes, there is a cap, of course. We're not an email service provider. Most members who socialise on the forum use either groups, VMs, or simply threads, and private messaging is definitely not an ordinary means of communication (that is, it has specific needs).

Allow me to let you in on a bit of statistics: at the time of writing,

A total of 37600 members (92.34%) only have 1 PM in their PM box. That one PM is likely what Imouto sent them when they joined.
Only 146 members (0.36%) have more than 20 PMs stored in their inbox, 24 of which have exactly 25 PMs. Shows how much the PM feature is used, hmm?
Only 326 members (0.8%) qualify for the increased PM box size.

The majority of us believe that 25 was way too low for our dedicated members such as yourselves who post here, and we think 250 is more than enough for most. There may be a minuscule percentage among you who need more than 250, but we think raising the capacity even more to cater to the minority is an unnecessary move.

Therefore, at least for now, we ask that the minority who really need more than 250 take the liberty of cleaning up their inbox once in a while if and when they've surpassed the threshold.

Otherwise, I'm pleased to see that the increase seems to satisfy most. If there is no other dissenting voice to the decision, I'll conclude the issue resolved and have the thread closed later today. "

Hey not sure which admin this refers to but I would like to request to extend my pm limit. My reason for this is due to beening the next host of the mafia and much to my suprise there are 20 players this time. Its rather hard sending there roles and also geting the back stories so i can give them perks. Later on when the game starts everyone will have a day action so this increase of a pm limit would be great.

If you could increase even by 2-6 it would be better then the 6 per hour i have now. Of course though once this game ends you can take away the extra you gave me back to its normal amount per hour

『As I said already Nazaka. PMs per hour limit and PM box size are 2 completely different things. PM box size is about a memory size. By increasing the amount of memory person's inbox has they can now have more PMs. Since PMs can be of different sizes the actual change is a number of different PMs limit but its still all about memory. While on the other hand PM per hour limit is just a limitation on how many PMs can be sent in an hour by a single person. It won't affect memory that much since how Ignis said already not many people send PMs at all...』
