There's so much more I wanna show you all!
I remember that winter train ride from Kanazawa to Kyoto, the way the sun was low in the horizon over the thick blinding snow. I remember staring out listening to Nujabes until an elderly lady speaking to me and asked where I was from since my Japanese speaking is kind of old fashioned. She shared some enlightening stories about her parents and Indonesia then we arrived in Kyoto, I believe she didn't get off the train to get off at Osaka because she had a bit of diallect and humour and then I got picked up by my girlfriend if the time who lived in Kansai prefecture so we visitted often. Man do I want to take you aroubd Kyoto.

Sorry for my long and offtopic posts but I cant help it because right now the sun is low and shines yellow, which reminds me of that train ride

Seba-San has been a great amount of my memories back in Japan, I think he was my first contact with Hip-Hop from Japan. Every morning on the train I'd be looking out the window listening to the Modal Soul album which was still pretty new at the time, but of course also to the Metaphorical Music album and the collections album. I think this track is the one I remember listening to the most, really has a train vibe to it

It really brings me back.. When Mellow Beats Friends and Lovers came out in 2009 my friends and I were dying to buy it, then I discovered this track in it, produced by Hiroto Uyama I believe and the MC is Golden Boy from Specifics. A track I've listened to (on repeat) on my last few days in Tokyo in the Yurikamome line, overlooking the Tokyo skyline, the rainbow bridge.. Shiodome skyscrapers.. It means alot! Man I could go on forever about Japan hehe.. I might want to make a thread about how it is to live there as a foreign kid. Does that seem like a good idea? It should be all right to type it up, 'an article of Japan'... as long as you explain clearly that there are no prejudices, bias, etc. and other whatnot, others will read and be interested.

Indonesia... Japan... Picking based from experiences is fine... I'd pick pick based from desire. Rate your desire between the two. Which do you find yourself visiting more often or which can you see yourself traveling with your children first?

Hmm thanks for your suggestions all - I might call it "Living in Japan as a child" or something, because I'll only be describing what you'll experience as a kid who's used to living in the West; so stuff like work; housing and other adult-stuff I don't really know so I won't be talking about that.

Also really off topic but just wanted to quickly post this song I've listened to non-stop since yesterday.

I remember when the RISING SUNS started back in 2009. Stumbled across a match with my dad and they were soo small and underground by then but I'd never expect them to be sponsored by.. EMI Music! (≧∀≦*)
Nice frames of the Shuto expressway too, I remember my uncle took us around Japan first time I was there. A really memorable ride across the Rainbow Bridge!

And yeah about the summer.. Hmm I'm not sure where I'd take my kids first haha.. Maybe Japan.. or it depends how far Indonesia has developed by then - I wouldn't want them to get really bad stomach aches like my family do all the time hehe; I'm still not sure, maybe I won't go this year so I can save up for next year after school finishes. And maybe just in case my parents need to go for some urgent reason.

Also, glad you enjoyed the pictures!
