Hmm doesnt it start like that for everyone? xD People learn of those mystical forest full of elves and whatnot from those fairy tales and those monsters in the closet have to come from somewhere~ Though i suppose that the fear of dark probably plays a large part in that...

Truth be told... I haven't heard about monsters coming from the closet or under the bed until I was around 10.

Even then, I didn't believe in them.

I was mostly watching unsolved mysteries and/or murder cases when I was around 4.

The 'darkness' does spook most people. Not many are able to venture in the dark without some light or some people with them.

Well i didnt believe any of that stuff either but my mind plays tricks on me and i just end up scared anyway... :x

Hmm i dont like death too much so murders werent really to my taste...

Darkness actually has some decent reasons to be feared... Lots that happen in the darkness that wouldnt in the light...
