Remember back when computer was very big and very expensive, that only government agencies and very rich companies can obtain them? Look what happened now. Computers are getting cheaper and yet more powerful than the computer the NASA used to sent Apollo 11 to Moon.It comes down to personal preference and how attainable it is at what price. Going with machina path isn't surprising but will take another century or two and perhaps it may happen for those who can throw money into the waters. I'm referring to public availability though of the technology.
Throughout the ages, many people have tried/tested/experimented that considered by most as immoral or cruel.Hmm im pretty sure tons will go wrong and the first couple hundred of people may not have an idea form of immortality... takes time to develop stuff :/ There will probably be quite a bit of animal testing to go along with it... Random moral argument and stuff...
Bionic, people is the logical possible way for us to achieve nearly immortality in not so far future.
In less than 100 yer, we have managed to get human flying and landed on Moon, and throw more junks into the universe in the name of Science.
If that can be achieve within just a century, why can't artificial human body, with neuron circuits brain, like what we saw in Ghost in the Shell?
