you can i am positive, also a suggestion, i strongly suggest you buy an SSD drive you will see tremendous difference in speed while encoding. This machine's bottleneck is the HDD drives if you had an SSD with those specs you will be left speechless am sure of it!

i believe that this machine deserves the extra speed that is been lost with mechanical drive. Imo Buy an SSD 256GB install the windows and the software for the encoding, and keep as only storage drives the other two mechanical drives.

Do your encoding at the SSD and after finishing move them to the storage drivers ;)

Making 1080p60 video on old pc was excruciating... first it took at least 30 minute to 1 hour to render a 3-5 minute long video, then re-rendering the raw avi file to mp4 format took another hour editing and re-re-rendering the video to YouTube format 1080p60 took like 4 hours more x.x
