My new site design (Need feedback)

Power2All this may make you angry but the option that pichu655889 is talking about, searching torrents of a particular uploader is available at nyaa.se

Although, it isn't immediately recognisable. As far as I know, one has to navigate to a list of all the uploader's torrents (by clicking on the username) before using the search bar as per normal.

Nevertheless, I find such features useful as it limits search results to those from uploaders that one trusts.

Agreed.
And yes, I know Nyaa has it too.
Private trackers had that for ages (TorrentBits old code), BakaBT is still using this old school code.

I will look into that feature.

@Kurokaze I am not getting angry over a feature a other tracker has. They copied the idea over from others too, nothing new about that.
If I will implement it, I can assure you I will, and is pretty easy to deal with.
More over, I will implement more ways to upload torrents, including: Email uploading (attachments), website uploading, multi-file upload (using a list of torrent files you want to upload, instead of just 1 each time), complete control of your torrent (which includes changing before and after the announce URL listing, and more (soon)), API uploading (meaning, you attach a file in a way it can be parsed, like uploading using BASE64 encoding, which can convert binary code into readable and easy to understand code, etc...), commenting system will also include KARMA mode. People can "like" a comment, which makes a user more interesting what he has to say (this needs to be worked out more too)...
More ideas might get added, but these are some things I've been pondering about :)

i just wrote so because i know you hate them and i don't know too many torrent sites
i just use nyaa for old eroge

concerning search if you search part of a name file you don't get the results
i tried using "催眠" of "催眠パラノイア" but got "no torrent found"
so you need exact name to get the torrent you are searching
this may become a problem for games with lengthy name like those of Norn/Miel

To be honest I wouldn't say that the idea for such a feature would have been copied; I sorta expected it to be a must for any torrent tracker :P

If they copied the entire code then that's another story though.

Not all torrent trackers had it.
Nyaa didn't had it at the beginning, so yeah, it was added later.

That is a known issue.
MySQL only allows minimal character count until it allows it.
I'll fix it in a bit.

Edit:
Problem fixed, single character searches working.

That's easy to fix, you just need to use LIKE instead of MATCH in SQL queries.
And also need to lower the minimum search character size in MySQL.

Thank you

I’m finally done with my final exams 😭👍! I’m excited to start uploading again! To make up for the past two weeks of absence, I’ll be uploading a special batch next week. Starting tomorrow, I’ll upload around 6 or 7 CDs with the following schedule:

Sunday to Thursday:
Twice or thrice a week updates.

After that, I’ll return to my usual schedule, uploading 2 or sometimes 3 CDs a week. (Including 1/2 request)
