Its a RPG imitation of Dark Souls, with fairy tale characters. DO READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO TRY GOING TRUE END WITHOUT WASTING TIME! CAUSE I JUST DID!
Not sure how to trigger new game+, but you must play a really cruel game if you want to get to the real post game content.
Prologue:
Is it possible to beat the dragon?
- YES! but is it worth the trouble? I don't know.
Before post game:
You need to locate and kill the 4 witches (or actually just make a pact with them, which essentially makes you their husband? And yes you get scenes)
-> Frog Princess, at Swamp area, takes away a huge amount of exp from you for pact. Her pact ring gives you 50% chance to trigger confusion, poison, arm paralysis, and silence.
-> Rapunzel, at top of tower. Asks for "Rare rose of desert" for pact. Her pact ring give you an additional turn and 90% avoid rate.
-> Mermaid, at bottom of sea. Asks for sacrifice of your beloved (Female ally, level 100 or above? To check, go to the inn and you notice you can engage in a scene with the female ally). Her pact ring gives you 50% HP regen (However, do note your HP and MP drops drastically. So I didn't use this ring). P.S. seems if you use the fairy, she won't disappear, but have a major level drop.
-> Snow White, at Ice castle. Asks for the death of the other 3 witches (probably so she would be the fairest of them all? who knows). Pact ring reduces your def and m. def, but gives you 50% phy and mag resistance.
Bug:
Instant death prevention ring has a bug? The ring had an additional word in it. Its true effect is "DEATH PREVENTION RING"! Have yet to die with the ring on. When you have 0 HP you can continue fighting anyway! Best for bosses you werent meant to kill.
After you beat the final boss, you can carry on with your game.
-> At Wonderland, the bookshelves have some missing books. These are fairytale stories. In order to get them all, you have to go for many different stories.
-> After you finally freaking complete the shelves, Alice tells you the original Alice can be resurrected? at the locked door at the back or something. Entering it you will find... 8 more freaking shelves. Some of these books are so known that you realize... YOU CANT GET THEM NOW! Not sure if this is a bug. But once some of the characters become your ally, you cannot trigger events that would kill them. This effectively just PREVENTS YOU FROM GETTING THE BOOKS FOR THESE 8 SHELVES! There are 4 allies that I have gotten: Fairy, Dorothy(Wizard of Oz), a Harpy, and Little Match Girl. At least the harpy, little match girl and dorothy are books in the final 8 shelves.
I can't identify all 8, but here:
Dorothy of Wizard of Oz(Missable) - As you go in the forest, you find wizard's house. Inside there is the blue and red onis. Deeper within is a witch. She will sell magic books. You can ask to be her disciple (ally). But she would tell you to kill 3 monsters(Mindless scarecrow, heartless tinman, crazed lion) to be her disciple. Once she become your ally, I have yet to find a way to kill her (other than maybe using mermaid sacrifice?)
Little Match Girl(Missable) - In the town of the naked emperor, there is a shop where a girl waits for her mom. After some time in the game(possibly after you kill naked emperor), when you return to the shop, her deformed mom returns to kill her. Step in to kill her mom, and she would freak out and run away. Some time later, she would arrive at the starting town. Comfort her (You know what it means) and she becomes your ally. To get her book, do NOT stop her mom. She would be killed by her mom in shock, and drops her book.
Queen ???- The woman who sells the stat boost crests. She has an event, where she lost a ring. Go back to the forest and fight till you get a ring that decreases HP regen (I fought Jack the bean too i think). Return to her for a scene if you choose.
Little red riding hood - After some time in the game, you will find a boat in the starting town. This will take you to Little Red Riding Hood. Seems she might be from another game by the same producer. Anyway, you wake her up (one way or another), and she feeds the wolf. You can pay her for her services, or assault her. If you assault her, if you win, she will let you have your fun and scene, then suicide to accompany the wolf you just killed. You can get her book this way.
Holy maiden - She will first appear in the starting town with her guards. Later on they went on their pilgrimage. However, it ends badly with her guards dying and reviving as skeletons in the skeleton maze. She is however safe. She will later question her belief and goes to the church where you fight the dog boss. She will sell holy magic books.
Golden ??? (Missable) - She is the harpy at the grazing area initially. Release her, and she will go to town. She sets up a bank for souls. I put in 50,000 souls. After around half way in the game, she disappears with my savings. Go to the swamp area (Not the one for Frog Princess), and you will find a tent there. She hides in there, and say no 3 times. You get to choose to punish her or forgive her. Forgiving her will make her happy and become your ally.
??? - Not sure where is the last book. Wondering if the little fairy drop a book, but shes too hard to kill initially.
If anyone gets to this ending, do let me know what it really says after you get all these books. Ain't gonna replay all over again just to see this.
