@TMV - I wasn't aware of the item map issues. I haven't really tried them out yet. I've been using mostly the stock maps and Snooley's. But I will keep that in mind thanks!

Whatever happened to the "push-up" bra effect? That's was a great thing to have. I like to have that push up bra effect on with clothes and off without it but lately all of Illusion's release has only 1 state which kinda sucks but oh well.

@MR.SANTOS - Haha yeah I wouldn't go around those books either, but with Dark Elves, they just love that shit! LOL BTW Kendra is hella fine, I love her eyes bro.

It's always nice to hear feedback from my guides! One yes is all I need to get it started, it'll take some time though there's a lot to learn about lighting.

You can take as long as you need, mate. For the time being, my hands are full with re-learning what I can already do in the normal studio! The two dilemmas I always seem to have regarding lighting is either I don't know what lighting would look good in my scene (most likely just lack of experience as a photographer) or I have an idea of what I want to do but no clue on how to achieve it (More so in the old studio). With NEO, I took note that they were making light sources much easier to add, move, point, color, etc.

I've been playing with the new breast bones in the FK system and I've managed to sort of recreate the pushup effect.. Or at least some great cleavage. I make all of my ladies' breasts hang as naturally as possible in the character maker/nude and adjust them later in the studio/with clothes on. The default studio completely BROKE this feature so needless to say, I was pretty disappointed. But NEO has surprised me. :)

Here her breasts are hanging naturally.

Here they are pushed together and up.

Here's some more comparison shots. Images have been down scaled so as not to be bandwidth hogs. Easier for comparing anyways.

Okay so I tried NEO studio mode with the english translation and all that.

first note: It's clunky as balls\

Second note: none of the mods I had worked

Third note: Trying to switch to regular studio mode resulted in the blue background of death where I couldn't do anything with the characters etc

Basically Fuck this expansion and NEO studio mode for now.

I personally favored NEO a lot. Takes a while to get familiar with the UI, but it pays off soon, with all of its enhanced features.

Hello and welcome to our little thread I hope you stay with us! Doesn't seem like I have any advice to give you seeing as you already know what you are doing with lighting. I will comment on the first picture though since it caught my attention the most.

I like how you used a hair light to create separation and give highlight to the hair, if that wasn't there it would just look like a black blob so great job on that. However it is a little bright and it draws focus away from the subject, unless the hair was the focus in this shot.

Since it was a head shot I think it would benefit more if there was a source of light shining on her face, not the entire face just the edge that is exposed to draw more attention to it.

Other than that, your photo's are fantastic! I also love the pose in the third shot.

Hey don't put it on yourself man, don't worry about it! It does sound rather troublesome though. But I think some of it can be solved with the FK bust control from what other users are saying. It's not perfect but it's still pretty good.

Looks great if you ask me! Using FK for the bra effect is actually a great idea, not sure why I haven't thought of that.

Regarding the old studio, you can still get some pretty good lighting if you have the HSshortcut plugin I believe, the one where you Press B and some menus pop up. That offers some really good lighting control and you can even control the god rays (color, intensity etc)

Take a look at these pics I took in the old studio. These are straight out of camera and not edited. In my guide I'll teach about different types of lighting and which ones to use in what situation, but yea that will take some time since I want to make new pictures just for the guide.

Indeed a good solution, even if not perfect. I have been playing around with that some days ago. Together with the Adjust mod (I think? Not sure if it's available for Neo yet), and the bone modifier mod you can get some nice cleavage and breast press.
