On collecting scenes from Darakugear and NU:Carnival

Darakugear and NU: Carnival are Chinese adult social games distributed by DMM and EROLABS.
Darakugear has two patterns of CG, 3D and 2D, and its contents are unique and different from other games.
NU: Carnival is a BL game with 2D animated CG, and is one of the few in its genre that is of high quality and valuable.

However, the conditions for acquiring scenes and the character emission rate are beyond ShangriLa Drive, and it is impossible to collect them alone, even if there were to be a final event.
In addition, Chinese games in this area do not have a start-up period for new players (the same is true of NU: Carnival, to put it simply), so you need to have less than a month's worth of reserves in order to draw your first ssr, and continuous play is required.
Although no end has been announced at this time, the trend is somewhat suspicious and we have created this forum to discuss recording and preparation in advance.

We learned last time that you need to think about whether to make it in .mkv at the very least.
No matter how good the image quality is, destroying the warehouse is a bad idea.

There are currently two possible plans.
A:Recording
・Play the DMM version and the EROLAB version, so the probability of getting the characters together will increase.
Note: DMM version is censored.

B:Extract and play the data
・All the characters are available for DL data.
Note: Obfuscation makes it impractical for amateurs who are just using the tool.

The DMM version has a double mosaic, and initially the haze could be removed, but a later update forced the display of the mosaic.
I hope you now have a little better understanding of why DMM users are worried about this management trend.

No matter how uncensored the EROLAB community is, as long as it is a platform, threads like this will probably not be tolerated.

Progress and Current State of the Game: Darakugear
We have obtained all the base characters, and it seems possible to collect the default CGs through the training system. However, the CGs and 3D scenes from events are only implemented for regular and some event-exclusive costumes. The challenge will be how to acquire and unlock these costumes.
Nevertheless, the situation with the game's management remains unsettling. There have been only a handful of new events this year, and everything after that has been reruns of old events.
If things continue with only reruns, it’s likely that at some point, we will move towards wrapping up this project. However, it’s uncertain if the game will last until then.

The DMM version has more costume options than the Elab version, but the mosaic censorship is so severe that it becomes a last resort. Even so, it's puzzling that, despite having 3D models for event costumes, there's no viewer function in the game. This means you can only see them in scenarios or when you don't have the default costumes, which leaves me wondering what the developers were aiming for.

Personal Note:

The Elab version of Edens Ritter Grenze is shutting down. Apparently, the intense content didn't go over well with the audience.
This game was relatively generous when it came to character acquisition and scene collection, and even this month's final event includes a revival of past events and an all-inclusive gacha.
As expected, there's no word about an offline version, so once the servers go down, everything will likely become inaccessible.
The issue is... while I am playing the game, I'm not nearly as passionate as the thread title might suggest.
That said, it's still one of the few DMM export titles that can be viewed without censorship.
I'm honestly not sure what to do.

For now, as a trial for future work, I've set up another uploader and am recording gameplay, but as mentioned, my enthusiasm is pretty low, so I probably won't fix any encoding errors unless someone points them out.
Considering the effort involved, I plan to pick out scenes with censorship differences compared to the original version.

Also, it seems there's an issue with the game's recording, as the voice volume varies between scenes. Unless it's a major problem, I'll likely leave it as is.

All ★4 characters have been uploaded.
Looking back at the content... yeah, it's way too hardcore. No wonder it's not for everyone.

Apparently, the end-of-service announcement for Daraku Gear was made two days ago. Service ends on May 27.
Judging by the announcement, they're probably not going to do something generous like an all-character pickup gacha. (Not like I have any gems left anyway.)
Seems the devs did have a conscience after all—gacha access and gem distribution have started.
I already burned through a fair number of the free tickets, but here's hoping I can recover from that.


...However, there's been an annoying setback on the other front.
It seems the mosaic for the el-version can't be removed anymore.
Since I've already partially listed what I've got, dealing with this issue takes priority for now.

Ah, right—turns out this depended on the client's own settings.
Still, this misunderstanding ended up being a lucky break.

The remaining issue is scene unlock rate. For illustrations, it's easy if the character is raised to ★3 (some require up to 8), but many ELAB characters are still unowned.
3D scenes are gated by bond level, but that can probably be managed on the DMM version.

Honestly, if the management hadn't decided to run the gacha, giving up would have been one of my options.
