I am very glad to see Love Live!! well received...and Mashima-san promised us more Fairy Tail....just hope the new staff don't mess with the design too much. Girlz und Panzer is so hot in Japan it is amazing, there are tours now to all of the locations that are crammed with visitors, and just about every possible item for the series is selling like mad. I love the series too btw. Much more to look forward to , Spring will be a good season. All of the good studios are putting out great work.

Earlier today a 15-second commercial was released showcasing the upcoming anime series 「Mekaku City Actors」 from studio Shaft. The new project from director Akiyuki Shinbo is scheduled to premiere in April on station Tokyo MX and NicoNico Douga. You can locate the video after the cut.


Mekaku City Actors is an adaptation of the Kagerou Project — a mix-media project by the Vocaloid musical composer and writer Shizen no Teki-P; also known as Jin. The story revolves around a group of teenagers with supernatural powers who call themselves the Mekakushi-dan.

*Synopsis:

Shintaro Kisaragi, a HikiNEET who shut himself inside his room for 2 years, had been living his life normally until he met a cyber girl named Ene, who appeared in his computer screen when someone anonymously sent him a mysterious e-mail one year ago. One day, Ene messes with Shintaro’s PC which causes him to go outside for the first time in two years.
