Well, to give proper credit to this list it was actually put together about a decade ago on IRC in #mirrormoon in irchighway. Since then the original eroge rules bot has been down for years, but the list has since been reposted in forums like JAST where it's ballooned past 300.

As for there being duplicates, that's easily understandable as normally people have very little patience with going though a list of 100+ rules with the !eroge command and the writers tended to vary quite a bit.

Example would be ArchDemon or someone else coming up with the veni vichi veni comment and Takajun (the translator for a large number of translated eroge games including F/SN) came up with rules like the one that goes "You want identical? Play whatever games!"

As for myself, for a brief period of time I was known for having made 1/2 to 1/3rd of the rules on the list (referencing games like Tsukihime, Critical Point, Rapelay, Sensei and Biko) but it was under the nick of a_v or acoustic_visions.

Obviously the timestamps and credits that were on the original bot have been lost with how the list has been reposted however.
